In 1997 we’ve opened the first establishment of Izakaya Tanuki in Stadshart Amstelveen. A beautiful, central location with a Japanese garden, traditional appearance and authentic allure. Chef Osone San has carefully selected the menu and shared his knowledge and experience with the other chefs of Tanuki. Our chefs know how to prepare these dishes perfectly by getting the right training and education. We are happy that Chef Osone San is still a part of our team and if you are lucky you can still enjoy his famous Kushiyaki.

In 2014 we’ve opened the second location of Izakaya Tanuki at Gelderlandplein, the luxuruous Shoppingmall of Amsterdam Buitenveldert. Although the menu and working method remains the same as Izakaya Tanuki Amstelveen, the atmosphere of this location is more international and dynamic which suits perfect with the nearby located Zuidas.
Besides the Tanuki menu, Gelderlandplein also offers delicious & healthy Poké Bowls under the online label named Poké Fresh.
